Hector Lopez, MD
Medical Director

Dr. Lopez, a board certified family practice physician, brings more than 7 years of managed care experience in his role as Medical Director. As Medical Director, Dr. Lopez oversees the development and implementation of IPN’s clinical, quality and utilization management programs.

Dr. Lopez currently practices as part of a multi-specialty group, Independent Physicians of  Wisconsin.

Dr. Lopez received his undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences.

Michael J Repka
Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director

Michael Repka brings more than 25 years of managed care experience to his role as CEO/Executive Director of IPN. In his role as CEO/Executive Director, Mr. Repka maintains responsibility for all facets of the organization.

Prior to joining IPN in 2004, Mr. Repka served in various management roles for Wisconsin Health Organization (purchased by Humana in 1994) and Humana from 1989-1999. There he had responsibilities in operations, provider contracting and data analysis. Subsequently, he then served as Chief Operating Officer for Doral Dental, USA from 1999-2004. In his role as COO for Doral, he was responsible for oversight of all operational aspects of the company.

Mr. Repka received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University. In addition, he has completed a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.


Margaret Hogan
Director of Administrative Services

Margaret Hogan brings more than 25 years of managed care experience to her role as Director-Administrative Services of IPN, having been employed by IPN since 1992. Ms. Hogan’s responsibilities encompass the Administrative, Credentialing and Financial aspects of IPN.

Ms. Hogan received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point

Thomas Swenarski
Director of Information Systems

Tom Swenarski assumed the position of Director of Information Systems with IPN in the spring of 1999. His duties include overseeing the acquisition, configuration and maintenance of hardware, software, networks and subsystems, telecommunications, database management and application development for IPN.

Prior to joining IPN, Mr. Swenarski completed a 20 year career in Law Enforcement. During that time he undertook the dual role of Investigator and System Administrator for the Department's Information and telecommunications systems.

Mr. Swenarski is a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner, earning that certification from the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS).

Christine Thompson, RN, BSN
Director of Quality and Clinical Services

Christine Thompson brings 9 years of quality improvement experience to her role as Director of Quality and Clinical Services.  Ms. Thompson’s responsibilities include oversight of IPN’s quality, care coordination and utilization management programs.

Prior to joining IPN in 2014, Ms. Thompson worked in hospital quality as the director of quality and safety.  She has 15 years of clinical experience; including nursing home care, outpatient clinics, and obstetrics.

She obtained her associates degree in nursing at Wytheville Community College, and her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Sarah Zwiefelhofer
Director of Practice Management

Sarah Zwiefelhofer brings more than 25 years of practice management experience to her role as Director of Practice Management of IPN. In her role, she is responsible for the oversight, development and implementation of IPN’s practice management service model and vendor relationships. In addition, Ms. Zwiefelhofer has 20 years of independent consulting experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, software implementations, business development and marketing in Southeastern Wisconsin serving primary care and specialty physicians, hospitals, and health care organizations.
